How a Dream Became Reality

This summer and fall semester I had the chance to intern with the Stephenville Parks and Recreation Department (SPARD). In fact, God blessed me with an epic opportunity to create a 5K Run/Walk Turkey Trot. This summer I shared the idea with the Superintendent of the Parks and Recreation Department thinking they would shut me down. Well, they didn't shut me down; in fact, they gave me more than I could handle. The superintendent decided to give me a chance to create a few other events.
God gave favor this summer and fall semester. As I worked with SPARD, I realized the 5K Run/Walk turned into a ministry opportunity. You might be thinking; why would I use this as a ministry opportunity? Well, my last semester of college I realized I wanted God to use my life to impact everyone around Stephenville. I decided to pray for an opportunity to reach out to Greek Life students. God saw my heart for the situation.
The Lord opened the door to work with Delta Zeta. A few students from this organization became my Team. I couldn't have asked for a better team. November 18th is in a few days; the event will be spectacular! I know God is going to do great things.
You might be wondering why I shared this story? Students attending college ignore internships. The internship with the Stephenville Parks and Recreation Department prepared me for any event. God opened the door this summer. I give all the praises to Him. He did everything. I recommend getting an internship before you graduate college.
I also wanted to share the importance of using each day for the Kingdom. I'm graduating in less than a month. So my mind is set to carry the Gospel to everyone. I want people to see, hear, and experience the Gospel. I want to encourage my friends who are pursuing a relationship with God; to reflect the image of Christ to everyone. You never know who has heard of this Good News.
Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this story.
You are all Awesome!!! Have a Fantastic Day!!!
