War Is Real - Spiritual Warfare

Throughout history, the world has been in a battle. We all have experienced brokenness, pain, and death. The Bible explains how we all wage war against "the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12).
Let's flashback to the beginning of time. "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth" (Genesis 1:1). He created everything, "and God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good" (Genesis 1:31). Then God gave a command to man "you may surely eat of every tree of the garden, but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die" (Genesis 2:16-17). To speed the story up; we ate from the tree. Then 'Sin' entered the world. Instantly, everyone lost their relationship with God. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).
Some might be wondering is this the end of the story?
Nope! God had another plan.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16). God loved his people. He gave his only Son for us. Jesus died on a cross for our sins, but He rose three days later.

Now, that we are all caught up let's talk about the war. Once a person becomes a Christian, they get an enemy named Satan. "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly" (John 10:10). Satan will do everything to "steal and kill and destroy" (John 10:10). Therefore, we need to "put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil" (Ephesians 6:11).
Honestly, we can't win this battle without God. The Bible explains how the Lord has already won the war. He is also coming back for his people one day.
Why am I sharing this?
I struggled with my Faith recently. This story is a Testimony. The enemy spoke lies in my life. He was trying to "kill and destroy" my relationship with God (John 10:10). This enemy will do whatever it takes to get us away from our relationship with God.

Things I learned:
-Pray about the situation, -Immerse yourself in Scripture,
-Be Open and Talk to Someone about the situation, -Never give up on God. He hasn't given up on You, -Prepare for the Battle - "put on the whole armor of God" (Ephesians 6:11).
